Getting Impacted!
So you have heard my story, I’ve identified areas that I went through and that I believe most men go through. So what are the next steps? How do I get impacted? Below I will simply list what I went through and give a brief summary of what happened and how it impacted my life. Then at the end of each summary I will have a link that you can click on where you can get detailed information on how to receive that impact for your life! It’s that simple! Caring For The Heart Ministries- Healing hurts and wounds
I was so deeply wounded from hurts and areas of my life like rejection and anger that God allowed me to find out and go through Caring For The Heart Ministries and really identify areas of my life that were wounds and areas that I had deep roots like pride, anger, moral failures, and bitterness. After identifying those areas in my life, most of them I wasn’t even aware of then through Biblical principles and prayer I was able to resolve those and have those healed in my life creating such a freedom and cleansing that I have never experienced before. Cleansing Stream Ministries- Discipleship and deliverance focus
Cleansing Stream is a 12 week discipleship and deliverance ministry that focuses also on the importance of guarding our lives from evil and negative things that influence our lives. This is similar to Biblical Concepts in Counseling but a more in-depth discipleship and deliverance focus as it is a 12 week course as Biblical Concepts in Counseling is a 5 day intensive counseling session. Receiving a Father’s Blessing- Headship and mantle to be a man
Again I was attending a men’s meeting at my local church and a good friend of mine and our family was teaching on the importance of a father’s blessing in a mans life. He spoke of the biblical importance and it was amazing how this was so vital yet it is never spoken about, it was all so new to me. After about 10 minutes of explaining this blessing the man asked who would like to receive a father’s blessing? Every man’s hand went up and the man said we can give you this and who will come up first to see how it works. Literally every man went forward to pray and talk to this man and receive this blessing. I know myself and men are not comfortable with stepping forward and being vulnerable so this reaction from everyone spoke volumes to me. He sat the first man down in front of him and began to ask him about his father. He then began to ask for forgiveness in areas that he felt his father had hurt him. The man began to cry and he was saying he forgave his father from areas of hurt and pain that that man was carrying. Pains and hurts that were birthed in him since he was a kid and still carrying those in his heart as if they had happened just yesterday. The man then prayed a fathers blessing of commissioning him to be a man, to go out and accomplish things God has called him to do, to go lead his wife and children and prayed a head of leadership over him. Writing my Mission Statement- Finding out exactly what God has called me to do
I was apart of my local church’s 5am ‘No Frills’ men’s group and one Air Force guy spoke on the importance of knowing your ‘Mission Statement’. It’s vital that a business or any organization would have a mission statement; a statement that summarizes where they are going, what are their main objectives, and what’s most important for their organization to accomplish that separates them from anyone else. How much more important is it then that being God’s children to understand not just our Biblical mission statement but specifically what we were born to accomplish that God created just for you to accomplish, that no one else can! This was very powerful in my life. I went home and asked the Holy Spirit to show me exactly what my mission statement was. I spent time praying, writing down my hearts desires and my passions and after about 3 weeks I came away with my Mission Statement that literally blew me away! It was so powerful, it was so clear, it was this one page summary of what I felt called to do and even a commissioning to go do this and only I could accomplish this incredible mission statement that God created me to do! It gave me a purpose, it gave me a passion, it gave me significance and a clear and precise focus. I have this one page ‘Mission Statement’ typed up and framed by my desk where it is a constant reminder of what God has commissioned me to do. Do you know what your incredible Mission Statement is? Developing and growing our walk with the Lord is essential as a Christian and as a man of God. We as men have so many great and important roles that God has given us the responsibility of.
