Porn Facts- You wont believe how destructive and how big the porn industry is!
For decades pornography has been defined as a public health issues. Conclusive evidence has found not only that pornography can be addictive but several studies have also demonstrated that pornography can alter the mental, emotional, and social attributes of its users. This unchecked epidemic puts its victims at risk for committing sexual offenses, developing deviant sexual tendencies, and experiencing difficulties in intimate relationships.

Yet, despite the overwhelming evidence of harm, in 2006 we saw worldwide pornography revenues generate more than $97 billion, producing more revenue than Microsoft, Google, Amazon, eBay, Yahoo!, Apple, Netflix and EarthLink combined. Pornographic search engine requests accounted for more than 25% of daily traffic on the internet, and 8% of daily emails were pornographic in nature. Roughly 90% of 8-16 year-olds viewed pornography online and an estimated 80% of 15-17 year-olds were having multiple experiences with hard core pornography.

Shocking Statistics:

* In Phoenix, Arizona, neighborhoods where adult businesses were located experienced a 506 % higher number of sex offenses than areas without porn businesses.

* 72 million people visit pornographic Web sites annually. Males represent 65% of visitors to the sites in the U.S.

* 72% access the sites at home, and 28% view the content at work.

* Child pornography generates $3 billion a year, with the average age of a person’s first Internet exposure being age 11.

* AOL blocks 2.4 billion adult-oriented messages daily, which is 80% of all e-mail.

* Every second – $3,075.64 is being spent on pornography

* Every second – 28,258 Internet users are viewing pornography

* Every second – 372 Internet users are typing adult search terms into search engines

* Every 39 minutes: a new pornographic video is being created in the United States

Divorce:

Two-thirds of the divorce lawyers attending a 2002 meeting of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers said excessive interest in online porn contributed to more than half of the divorces they handled that year. They also said pornography had an almost non-existent role in divorce just seven or eight years earlier.

Porn is basically rape that’s made into a video tape
But for God’s sake don’t you know that its fake
Porn is so tough cause enough is never enough
All it takes is a look for you to be instantly hooked
And all it is, is a lie that destroys so many lives
It weakens the heart and makes marriages fall apart
This crap is garbage leads to nothing but carnage
